Catchin Up

Being back in Clearwater has been nice.  We have gotten to see many friends and family that we haven't seen in a long time.  Thursday Aimee and I went to Old Town to River City Brewing Co. and enjoyed some of Wichita's finest brews.  Their Wheat beer was delicious!  After havin a few cold ones, we went to dinner with Cindy and Aunt Charlotte.  Dinner was great and it was nice to visit with everyone.  While we were eating, it hailed on the restaurant 3 times.  A pretty strong storm rolled in that evening.  The conditions were right for a tornado, but thankfully none formed.  It was raining so hard, we got 3 inches in two hours!  It was great to see some weather.  We don't get that ever in Vegas.  We made it home safely but visibility was poor because of the rain and 60 mph winds.

Friday we just lounged around in the morning hours and cooked breakfast.  It has been really great to ease into almost everyday.  I guess that's why vacations are so fun and relaxing!  We headed up to Wichita in the afternoon for lunch and some antiquing.  Lunch at Taco Shop was very good.  This is a little mexican place I used to go to a lot in high school, it brought me back.  Then we stopped by a couple of antique shops, which Aimee absolutely loves to do.  Nothing really caught our eye, so we went back to Clearwater to relax a while before meeting up with my Mom, Grandma Helen, and Grandpa JR for dinner.  Dinner was good, but the company was even better.  It was nice to see my Mom so happy and I am glad that she has followed her dreams and has been so successful so quickly.  She found a job the first day she looked and has even secured a house to live in.  Looks like God's plan is working out, and that He is watching over her!
